New Hour of Code Tutorials Feature Minecraft and Moana

The Hour of Code is a global movement designed to generate excitement in young people. Games, tutorials, and other events are organized by local volunteers from schools, research institutions, and other groups during Computer Science Education Week, December 5-11.

The all-new Minecraft Hour of Code Designer is tutorial that allows students to code their own Minecraft rules. Now students can use code to control how animals and other Minecraft creatures behave, creating a unique Minecraft experience. And the new tutorial Moana: Wayfinding with Code characters from the upcoming Disney animated film "Moana." As students follow Moana and Maui's travels, they learn basic coding commands that help steer the boat.
