Program Tracks
There will be a program track consisting of Panels, Paper sessions, and Tutorials
focusing on both the positive and negative contributions of computing to the
quality of life. Topics that will be included are:
- Education:
- Teaching the ethical and social impact of computer technology.
- Internet:
- The social and ethical impact of the information superhighway.
- Workplace:
- The impact of computer technology in the workplace.
- History:
- Presentations by well-known computer
historians who examine the history of
computing over the past 50 years.
