ACM Computing Week 96

International Education Event


During the 1995 - 1996 School year, K-8 students are participating in a project demonstrating the use of technology and the Internet in education, involving computers and space. A space curriculum is being developed and distributed to a number of the American Library Assocaition Power Project school sited. Students will use the Internet to obtain information and to report their data. Each site will produce a half-hour video about their role in the project. Come see the children's accomplishments during Computing Week, where the kids will chat with an astronaut and a panel will discuss the results of this innovative project.
