CSCW 2008 - Computer Supported Cooperative Work

Thanks for a great conference!

CSCW 2008 was a great success! The conference brought together over 500 of the leading practitioners and researchers in collaboration practices and technologies. Each of the conference technical tracks - Papers+Notes, Posters, Demonstrations, Panels, Videos, and Workshops - provided valuable intellectual give-and-take among members of this community. The success of the conference demostrates the continuing growth and vibrance in the increasingly important field of technology-mediated communication, coordination and collaboration

If you attended, we thank you for contributing to the stimulating interactions at CSCW 2008.

We would also like to thank the many volunteers whose time and talents made the conference such a success. CSCW 2008 benefited from the involvement of 31 organizing chairs, 36 papers+notes associate chairs, 599 paper reviewers and 40 student volunteers. Thank you for making this conference and community great!
