Martin Pelikan is a Ph.D. student at the Department of Computer Science at the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. He works on the design of efficient genetic and evolutionary algorithms since 1995. His major areas of interest are evolutionary computation, black-box optimization, artificial intelligence, and machine learning.
