Mary Beth Rosson (rosson@vt.edu) is an Associate Professor in the Department of Computer Science at Virginia Polytechnic Institute and State University. She is the author of Instructor's Guide to Object-Oriented Analysis and Design with Applications, has developed and co-taught a number of professional short courses in the Task-Artifact Framework and in object-oriented design, and has authored numerous journal articles, conference papers, and book chapters. She is currently serving as co-principal investigator on over $1 million in funded research studying problems in networked education, distance learning and scenario-based design.
