Paulo N. Lama
(pawklaner@gmx.net) is a Chilean
student for Bachelor of Science in
Information Systems at the American College for Computer & Information
Sciences (ACCIS.EDU), located in Birmingham, Alabama, United States. Paulo
spent several years as a bilingual Web Designer; His Spanish & English
skills proved helpful for transferring to ACCIS his Basic Cycle of
Engineering of the Civil Construction School at Catholic University of
Chile in Santiago, where he became fascinated by computers, becoming one of
the first Chilean users of the Internet in 1994. He started Teaching
Internet Navigation and Web Designing in multiple environment as MacOS /
Windows & Unix (DEC-X System) until Computers & Internet became his real
profession. He is continuously travelling between Chile and the United
States while he is studying on the net, and learning state-of-the-art
technology of Internet Applications and Networking. He also works as a
creative Web and WAP Designer at pawklaner.com and as a web-consultant to
build information systems for cybercafes, stores and small companies. He
divides his time between ACCIS in his leading one IS & e-business career,
research and work, and friends. In his spare time, he tries to bike and
enjoys the outdoor life around Lake Erie. He is also a loyal Tribe fan of
his favorite baseball team, the Cleveland Indians.
