Roberto A. Flores-Mendez is a student at the University of Calgary, Canada, where he is pursuing a Ph.D. in Computer
Science. His interests include software agents, the design of multi-agent systems, and issues in distributed computing.
Some of his previous achievements include a B.Sc. in Computer Systems Engineering from the Instituto Tecnologico y de
Estudios Superiores de Monterrey (Mexico) and an M.Sc. in Software Engineering from the University of Calgary
(Canada). In 1997, Roberto was awarded a first prize in the ACM/IBM Quest for Java contest for his jKSImapper
