Amount of time spent working daily (at home and office): I work largely at home in the past few months. I have a high speed line at home and do most of my work in virtual mode over the internet. I go to sleep about 2 a.m. coming from the computer. Start about 8 a.m. and work throughout the day and night with breaks for family, eating, exercise, meetings f-t-f.
What I do to get myself thinking creatively: Focus.
My problem-solving strategy: Focus.
What I do to relieve stress: Finish the problem that causes the stress.
What I do to mentor those who work for me: I try to instill in people the importance of vision and working from there in a consistent way to objectives for the vision.
One event or decision in my life I wish I could go back and change: I would have managed my personal life differently. I think personal life can be dramatically influence professional life particularly as one gets to a higher level of management in which politics and character are perhaps more important than intellect and solo productivity. The intellect and solo productivity can continue regardless of the personal life.
What values are the most important to me and what I value in others: I value people with vision who commit themselves to it.
What inspires, motivates, or gets me excited about my job on a daily basis: The opportunity to realize my vision.
