Dr. Jim Alves-Foss (jimaf@uidaho.edu) has been an Assistant Professor of Computer Science at the University of Idaho since 1991. He received his MS and PhD at the University of California at Davis under the guidance of Dr. Karl Levitt. His research interests include computer security, formal methods and the design of reliable distributed systems.
