Other suggestions would be: - choose the interview subjects of the column "A Day in the Life of" based on periodical polls. Or even use 2 subjects, one chosen by the readers and one by the editors; (Btw, cool column); - the author of the best article from each issue should be awarded by a free ACM Student Membership (iff the author is a student); - I think that whole issues dedicated to High-Speed Networking, Network Security / Cryptography as well as one dedicated to Embedded Systems and RTOSes would be very necessary; - Open a column to deal with different aspects of computing generated by the Internet, for example MP3 and DiVx;-) are very interesting things that were actually generated by the needs of people interacting through the Net.
