Your site is really very good, although I don't know why it is meant only for students. Some of the articles are a good upgrading material for professionals like me.

Hi,
especially the section "A Day in the Life of..." is very useful and sometimes very funny. It helps students and people who do not exactly know what they want to work, or what the work they prefer is like. It is better than any book I read on this issue, because there many people who write and there many jobs described!
A very good site, keep up the good work!

I am impressed with the extent of the Crossroads publication. The student involvement at my college is minimal so I appriciate the ACM student contributors even more.

I just wanted to thank you. that you put this site on the net in spanish, too. My english is not so good to understand those compicated words in the computer - articles.

A great site! I think the archive of passed issues is very important. Please keep it up. The articles about Computer Games and Software Engeneering were very helpful for me, because at the moment I am for 3 months in Europe and I am studying "Software Eneneering" at the SAP company. In the article about Computer Games I found some interesting solutions for a game I try to program since about 3 years !!!! Wish me Good Luck, that it will work soon.
Greetings from (at teh moment I am in:) "Walldorf"

Hi guys,
I wanted to say, that the articles about Parallel Computing were very helpful for me. I am studying "Technische Informatik" (in English I thinks it's called computer science, but I am not sure) at the university in Mannheim / Germany. Especially the article about "Fine-grained Parallel Genetic Algorithms in Charm++" was very helpful for a work we have to (I hope I will receive a good grade :-) )
Keep up the very good work on this site and I am looking forward to the next issues
Greg
PS: Greetings to William Stevenson! ;-)

I was lucky to happen upon your site. Crossroads homepage write up is so inspirational and encouraging. A lot of people, students or otherwise, would really benefit from the information, if they can take it to heart. I work with pregnant/parenting teens. I'm sure I've seen a paper copy of Crossroads in a coffee shop and am wondering if it is the same organization. In any case, I will have to save this site on my favourites, in hopes that in the near future you will provide service for the general public. Afterall, everyone can learn something new from one another. Kudos from Canada!

Very useful site for Students. I would like to see more 'ASK JACK' activity as it would be great to get feedback from an expert as to where the best jobs are etc. Why not set up a mailing list and mail the latest news from the site to those who sign up?
