C++ Primer

Comments:

An excellent reference for the C++ language. Lippman covers everything from the basics of C++ syntax to advanced topics like templates and run-time type detection. The book is easy to read and a good reference. The downside is that although the book talks about features in the new C++ draft standard, some of the features are so new that they are not well implemented in many C++ compilers.
