Usability Engineering

Comments:

If at first glance you think this title screams "Human-Computer Interaction," you're off. Yes, Jakob Nielsen has been doing HCI work at Sun Microsystems for years. Yes, HCI professionals are concerned with usability. But now it's time the software engineers get into the act as well. No one is designing software in a vacuum, someone is eventually going to have to USE the software that is produced. That is were this book comes in. Long heralded as one of the best usability books out there, it is also one of the most practical for software engineers. A must have for anyone designing software that they expect someone else to use.
