About the GAD . . .

ACM is pleased to present the latest edition of the Graduate Assistantship Directory in Computing (GAD), containing information on:

  • existing graduate programs in computing, including degrees offered and specialties, numbers of computing faculty and students, faculty interest areas and computer equipment available (both hardware and software);
  • types and amounts of financial aid available to qualified students at each institution;
  • admissions requirements and application deadlines; as well as
  • how to contact each program or institution.

We hope that the GAD will provide helpful information to individuals seeking a graduate program. Applicants must, of course, contact the graduate institutions directly for more information and financial aid materials. In addition, applicants should confirm all application deadlines with the particular institutions.

The GAD is published as a service to ACM student members and other interested parties, as well as the participating graduate institutions. The information contained in the GAD has been supplied by the various university departments and computing centers. No attempt has been made by ACM to verify its accuracy.

Institutions interested in placing a listing in the next edition of the GAD should complete the online form to receive more information.
