The main conference will take place at the Nagoya Noh Theater, located near Nagoya Castle which is famous for its pair of golden dolphins on its roof. The city of Nagoya has been the important crossroads since the ancient times due to its convenient location not just for transportation but for economical and cultural exchanges as well.

Travel Information

Nagoya is the gateway to the central region of Japan. Central Japan International Airport (Centrair) is connected to cities within Japan and to the major cities around the world with direct flights. The city center and Nagoya station can be reached easily by train or bus. (See details at Centrair website)

The Bullet train Shinkansen, Stops at JR Nagoya Station. It is about 1hour 40 minuets from Tokyo and about 1hour from Osaka or Kyoto. (Tokyo station is about 1 hour from the Narita International Airport using Narita Express. Shin-Osaka station (Bullet train station) is about 1 hour from Kansai International Airport using Haruka-Express)
