Eligibility Requirements

  • All ACM Quest for Windows CE participants must be ACM Student Members, except in the states of Vermont and Maryland: Students who are either legal residents or currently attending college or university there, are not required to be ACM student members to participate in the Quest.

  • Contest is void where prohibited, taxed, or restricted by law.
    The Quest is open for participation in the following countries:

    Argentina, Australia, Canada, Colombia, Finland, France, Germany, Holland, Hong Kong, Ireland, Italy, Mexico, Norway, Spain, Sweden, Taiwan (R.O.C.), the United Kingdom, and the U.S.

Not eligible to enter are employees and their immediate families of IBM Corporation, ACM, their divisions, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising and promotional agencies and Marden-Kane, Inc.

Please note: To qualify for student membership in ACM, you must be matriculated at an accredited educational institution and be carrying at least 9 semester credits at the time of joining.

Key Dates:
September 14, 1998: Registration Opens
February 20, 1999: Last day to register and/or join ACM
March 1st through March 31, 1999: Submit Applets
April 1st through April 30, 1999: Judging Period
May, 1999: Winners Notified
June, 1999: Winners Posted
