ACM AWARDS

ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, is the world’s
largest educational and scientific computing society. ACM’s overarching goal is
to advance computing as a science and profession. A very important part of this
goal is to recognize outstanding technical and professional achievements in
computing and computer science through our eminent series of awards.
The award recipients included on this page were honored at the 2008 ACM
Awards Banquet on June 21, 2008, at the Palace Hotel in San Francisco, California.
