Digital Library Broadens Citation Page Functionality
Tuesday, February 01, 2011
The new version of ACM's Digital Library features search results pages with a convenient tabular format for easy access to related search data. Users can click on these tabs to discover relevant journals, magazines, Special Interest Groups (SIGs), and conferences that enhance the results for their particular search.
For each article in the DL, the new citation pages include additional tabs, which display related authors, references, index terms, and the source publication. These contextual links offer DL users the opportunity to discover and explore the rich content found in this unique repository, and to post individual comments.
The ACM DL's extensive collection of knowledge charts the evolution of computing as a science and a profession. Its newly integrated features, functionality, and content constitute a critical resource for computing professionals who drive innovation in the digital age.
