Thursday, January 26, 2012

In keeping with ACM's commitment to create the next generation of innovators, we're pleased to share news about the 2012 Generation Google Scholarship program for current high school seniors. Students intending to enroll as full-time Computer Science majors or related studies can apply online for scholarships to support their study.

The application deadline is February 20, 2012.

Selected students will receive $10,000 USD for study in the US or $5,000 CAD for study in Canada per year up to four years (or until graduation, whichever comes first) so long as they maintain criteria for renewal. Recipients will also be invited to Google's Computer Science Summer Institute in 2012.

For information and eligibility criteria, visit the Generation Google Scholarship site via the first link or email questions to generationgoogle@google.com.
