June 28, 2011: New Titles in ACM Journals Program

Today's Topic: New Titles in ACM Journals Program
Tuesday, June 28, 2011

ACM has recently expanded its catalog of scholarly computing journals with two new titles. One reflects topics on artificial intelligence with a multidisciplinary perspective. The other includes articles on information management systems within organizations, businesses, and societies. These publications, led by editors from renowned global corporations, research labs and universities, provide venues for the latest research in their respective fields.

New journals:

  • ACM Transactions on Intelligent Systems and Technology (TIST) - launched Oct. 2010
  • ACM Transactions on Management Information Systems (TMIS) - launched Dec. 2010

ACM TIST publishes papers on intelligent systems, applicable algorithms and technology with a multidisciplinary perspective. An intelligent system uses artificial intelligence techniques to offer important services that allow integrated systems to perceive, reason, learn, and act intelligently in the real world.

ACM TMIS publishes papers on the design, development, assessment, and management of information technology and systems within organizations, businesses, and societies. In addition to traditional management and behavioral MIS research, this journal encourages submissions on high-quality system and design science research and emerging MIS multidisciplinary research.

You can subscribe to these or any ACM publications from the subscription link on the ACM homepage top right corner.

All ACM journal articles are available through the ACM Digital Library and in printed editions.
