ACM Student Membership Benefit

Through CA Labs, the CA Academic Initiative is part of CA’s efforts to explore novel products and emerging technologies through advanced technology research.

The CA Academic Initiative is a membership program for ACM Student Members. Once registered with CA, ACM Student Members receive complimentary CA software and courseware.

The CA ERwin Data Modeler Community is a large part of the CA Student Academic Initiative. It is an entry-level data modeling tool that is a subset of CA’s flagship CA ERwin Data Modeler product. It is a great way for ACM Student Members to get started with an industry-leading data modeling tool. In addition, CA is now making webcasts, documentation, articles, updates and a community forum available.

As data modeling is core to many data management and development efforts, this offering gives you the tools to get you started with the fundamentals of data modeling, without the overhead and cost of a commercial product.
