The primary activities of ACM SIGecom include the following:

  1. convening the annual ACM Conference on Economics and Computation,
  2. giving annual awards for work of outstanding quality in the fields of economics and computation,
  3. contributing to the ACM Transactions on Economics and Computation,
  4. publishing a newsletter, the SIGecom Exchanges, and
  5. supporting enrichment and dissemination of knowledge, through other technical meetings and publications.

The SIGecom officers welcome your suggestions or questions about the SIG.

SafeEC

The open exchange of ideas and the freedom of thought and expression are central to the aims and goals of SIGecom; these require an environment that recognizes the inherent worth of every person and group, that fosters dignity, understanding, and mutual respect, and that embraces diversity. For these reasons, SIGecom is committed to providing a harassment-free conference experience that implements the ACM Policy on Harassment and Discrimination.

If you experience or witness harassment or discriminatory behavior, we encourage you to report this promptly using the form for reporting violations of the ACM policy against harassment. An anonymous option is available. You may also reach out to Michal Feldman, who is leading SafeEC, or any of the SafeToC advocates for EC, listed on the SafeToC website.
