Housing for OOPSLA 97 is located in ten hotel in Atlanta with a variety of price structures to suit all budgets. To qualify for special conference rates, hotel reservations must be made through the Atlanta Housing Bureau via phone, mail or fax.

1. Name of convention attending.
2. Arrival/departure dates.
3. Type of room needed (single, double, handicapped, etc.).
4. Number of rooms required.
5. Number of persons in each room.
6. Your 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choice of hotels.
7. Names of occupants for each room.
8. Mailing address.
9. Phone number (with area and country code).
10. Credit card number and expiration date.
11. Any special request (smoking, non-smoking, king bed, etc.).

To make mail or fax reservations simply fill out the housing form included in this advance program and send as directed on the form.

Confirmation

An acknowledgment will be sent to you by the Housing Bureau and confirmation will be sent to you by your assigned hotel. Please read your confirmation immediately and carefully for instructions regarding advance deposit and check-in and check-out terms.

Deposit Information

Hotels in Atlanta require a credit card number or a first-night's deposit to hold your room. Be certain to include your credit card information on the hotel reservation form to assure your reservation. If you are not paying by credit card, you may mail one night's deposit with your reservation. Make check payable to Atlanta Housing Bureau. American Express, MasterCard and Visa are acceptable for deposits. Your credit card will be billed immediately.

Changes or Cancellations

All changes or cancellations prior to 5 September 1997 should be made directly with the Housing Bureau. After that date, please contact the hotel directly with any changes or cancellations. Cancellations must be received by the assigned hotel at least 72 hours prior to arrival for refund of the deposit.
