published in the February or March issue of CACM.
Slates should also be published in SIG Newsletters. |

that did not meet the deadline for CACM or publish the slate in their newsletter:

Mail date for 3rd class mailing to each SIG Membership to notify
all SIG Members of candidate slates and the right to petition. |
| March 3, 2008 | |
Mail date for 1st class mailing to a particular SIG Membership if
February 4th deadline is missed. |
| March 14, 2008 | |
Notification of intent to petition must be submitted to the
Office of Policy & Administration no later than |

| March 31, 2008 | |
All petitions returned to ACM Headquarters no later than

| March 31, 2008 | |
All candidate bios and statements submitted (staggered depending upon submission from Nominating Committee).

| March 4, 2008 | |
1st Group of postcards/ballots mailed; election site goes live |

| April 2, 2008 | |
2nd Group of postcards/ballots mailed; election site goes live |

| June 9, 2008 | |
All ballots due/ online election voting sites closed |

Election completed, all candidates notified of results by or before
this date. Winners take office. |

that these are the latest dates possible for submission of the required
information). Earlier submissions will help to expedite the election process.]
