Committee Information
Please note, the work of the committee was concluded in 1998. Please refer to this page is for historical purposes only.
Purpose: The ACM Technical Standards Commitee (TSC)
coordinates all official ACM participation in standards-related activities.
This includes designation of ACM memberships and liaisons in
standards-related organizations and development of policy and procedures
for ACM participation in standards-related activities. The committee is
also charged with encouraging and coordinating individual SIG
standards-related activities, and promoting the dissemination and
understanding of standards-related information to ACM members. See also

Personnel
The Technical Standards Committee has two classes of members:
Voting Members appointed by the ACM SIG Board; and Consulting
Members who assist by providing expert advice and additional liaison
relationships.
