A LIFE WITH COMPUTERS
By J Richard Swenson
Responding to Ubiquity Associate Editor John Stuckey's essay on his early experiences in computing, Dick Swenson reflects on his life with computers. Swenson says, "I have now retired, but I maintain an avid interest in computing. My general feeling is that little of real significance has changed in the human aspects of the profession, though of course, the engineering changes have been huge. People just take longer to change, I guess."
