Comment on Proposed Updates to the ACM Code of Ethics

ACM seeks the opinions of active members on proposed updates to the ACM Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct.

ACM is revising its Code of Ethics and Professional Conduct to reflect the shifts in both technology and society since adoption of the Code in 1992. ACM members are invited to participate in a survey on proposed Draft 3 updates to the Code.

During the survey, members will be asked to review the proposed Preamble, Principles, and associated guidance, and to indicate agreement with each. They will have the opportunity to provide feedback on how the Principles and guidance text might be improved, and to make any general comments on this proposed draft of The Code. Responses are anonymous.

Thank you in advance for helping ACM define professionalism in the computing field.
