2006 ACM Computers in Entertainment $15,000 Scholarship Winners: Congratulations to Omer Rashid and Will Bamford of Lancaster University (UK), and Jurgen Scheible of the University of Art and Design (Finland). The title of the winning paper is "PAC-LAN: Mixed reality gaming with RFID enabled mobile phones." Mr. Quincy Jones, Dr. Alan Kay, and Editor-in-Chief Newton Lee presented the awards.

The 2006 Awards Reception is co-sponsored by the American Film Institute as well as other organizations and individuals acknowledged on this web page. The 2006 scholarships are sponsored by the National University of Singapore (NUS) Mixed Reality Lab. Each of the 2006 winners will be awarded scholarships for studying at NUS or interning at either the Mixed Reality Lab in Singapore or the Hollywood Lab in Los Angeles.
