IRISS 2020, 13 to 14 February, IIT Gandhinagar: Call for Papers

October 9, 2019

The Inter-Research-Institute Student Seminar in Computer Science (IRISS) is an annual student seminar co-located with the ACM India Annual Event. The purpose of the seminar is to provide a platform for CS research scholars in India to showcase their recent research work and for the potential employers from academia and industry to interact with them. It provides an opportunity for the participants to interact with their peers and experienced researchers from other institutes and industry apart from getting to listen to distinguished speakers.

IRISS has a rich tradition of being an open and inclusive platform for showcasing research trends in computer science, and providing a forum for interactions between scholars from diverse backgrounds. IRISS invites research scholars of computer science and allied areas in India to showcase their recent work (either published in 2019 or accepted in 2019 for publication) to a conclave of researchers and potential employers.

Submissions should begin with a title followed by the names and affiliations of all co-authors. This should be followed by a detailed abstract and the details of the venue where the work has either appeared or been accepted for publication. Submissions should be no more than two pages long. Please use reasonable margins and font sizes.

The submissions will be evaluated by a program committee and selected papers will be invited for oral/poster presentation. Partial funding will be provided to the selected submissions. Limited accommodation on campus will also be available. The deadline for submissions is 31 October 2019.
