Call for Participation: IRISS 2020 and ACM India Annual Event 2020 at IIT Gandhinagar, 13-15 February

IRISS 2020

The 14th Inter-Research-Institute Student Seminar in Computer Science (IRISS 2020) will happen on 13 and 14 February. This is a flagship ACM India event where research scholars in CS and allied areas showcase their recently published work to a conclave of researchers and potential employers. Apart from 16 contributed talks, 8 lightning talks, and 25 posters, the two-day seminar is lined up with invited talks, panel discussions, an AMA session with speakers (both from IRISS and the Annual Event, see below), a research cafe hosted by TCS, and plenty of breaks which allow for interactions with colleagues from both academia and industry.

ACM India Annual Event 2020

The Annual Event of ACM India will be held on 15 of February (Saturday). The event will feature four keynote talks by Yann Lecun (2018 ACM A.M. Turing Award Winner, New York University), Shwetak Patel (2018 ACM Prize in Computing recipient, University of Washington), Susanne Albers (Gottfried Wilhelm Leibniz Prize, TU Munich), and M. Balakrishnan (2018 ACM Eugene L. Lawler Award, IIT Delhi).

The ACM India Doctoral Dissertation Award will also be presented at the Annual Event. The awardees will present their work at IRISS 2020.
