Call for Applications: ACM MobiSys 2021 Student Mentorship Program and Student Conference Grant

ACM MobiSys 2021 is calling for applications to this year's student mentorship program and conference grant. The application deadline is 31 May. Please fill out the form here.
This is your chance to meet the person whose work you follow and discuss research with them!
The mentorship program will run from 18 to 24 June (the week prior to MobiSys) and engage students with the conference and with senior researchers.
Planned activities include a warm-up bootcamp with daily challenges on a slack channel, and one-on-one mentorship sessions, with pairings based on interest from mentors and mentees.
There will be other opportunities for student engagement during the conference:
- Student mentorship workshop organised by students
- GatherTown events for students to network, including a collaborative game
- Daily debriefing sessions to discuss your thoughts on the technical sessions
Generous conference grants are available for students to cover the conference registration. Please apply for this grant using the same application form. Decisions will be announced a week after the application deadline. Student grant awardees will be provided with free registration codes.
You will need to register for MobiSys 2021, taking place 24 June to 2 July, to participate in the mentorship program. However, please do not register for the conference before hearing back about the student grant, because reimbursement will be more difficult.
