May 21, 2021

Dear Colleague,

We’re pleased to inform you about 3rd Software Engineering Research in India (SERI) Update Meeting to be held 15-17 July 2021. This year’s sessions will be held for a half-day on all three days in an online mode, as a safety measure against the ongoing pandemic and restrictions on travel. This is an event to encourage collaboration among research groups toward generating productive research for the upcoming year. SERI is supported by the India Chapter of the ACM SIGSOFT Special Interest Group. The host institute for SERI 2021 is the IIT Ropar Department of Computer Science and Engineering.

The SERI Update Meeting is held annually. It is an informal event aimed at bringing together faculty, students, industrial researchers, and practitioners working in software engineering to present and discuss advances in their areas of interest. Each participant can volunteer to make a presentation about a foundational aspect, algorithm, approach, or experience, focusing on novel or interesting insights relating to any aspect of software engineering such as requirements, design, development, analysis, testing, verification, or deployment.

If you wish to present your research, please register as a Speaker along with a short abstract on the topic you are planning to present before the deadline. There is no registration fee for participating in this event! Register here.

Important Dates:

  • Last date for registration: 5 June 2021
  • Notification for all requests: 20 June 2021

We look forward to receiving your submissions!
