ACM India Student Chapter Summit, 13 November: Invitation to Join

Dear Student Members,

The ACM Student Chapter Summit 2021 is hosted by Chitkara ACM Student Chapter, Chitkara University in virtual mode on 13 November 2021.

The aim of this Summit is to bring ACM Student Chapters together that want to expand their horizons, share their journeys, and grow their impact. At a common platform, different Student Chapters can showcase their best practices and also can learn new ways to serve society. This summit also provides an opportunity for participants to listen to the stalwarts of technology as well as industry experts. The Summit comprises keynote talks, panel discussion, presentations by Student Chapters, and interaction with ACM India Council members.

9.45 - 10:00 AM: Welcome Address by Chitkara ACM Student Chapter

10:00 – 10.30 AM: Inauguration including:
Address by Prof. Jayant Haritsa, President, ACM India Council
Address by Prof. Vasudeva Verma, Chair, Internal Engagement committee of ACM India Council
Address by Dr. Archana Mantri, Vice-Chancellor, Chitkara University

10.35 – 11.20 AM: Keynote 1 by Prof. Yogesh Simmhan, IISc Bangalore

11.25 – 11.45 AM: Break

11.45 AM - 12.30 PM: Keynote 2 by Shalini Kapoor, AI Director, IBM

12.35 - 1.05 PM: Presentation by student representatives of top 3 chapters

1.10 - 2.00 PM: Lunch + virtual campus tour

2:05 - 2:25 PM: Quiz Competition

2.30 - 2.40 PM: Video presentation of top chapters (sequence 4 to 10)

2.45 – 3.45 PM: Panel discussion on "How to build your skills and profile to have dream jobs"

3.45 - 4:00 PM: Discussion with ACM India Council members

4:00 - 4.15 PM: Virtual cultural performance by the host organization

4.15 - 4.30 PM: Valedictory
