ACM India is pleased to announce the partnership with 14 Trees Foundation

Dear friends,
As a token of appreciation ACM India often provides a memento to those who contribute significantly to our initiatives. We have now started offering an eco-friendly memento to them.
We are pleased to announce that ACM India has partnered with 14 Trees Foundation (14trees.org), a charitable organization which focuses on restoring native green cover on ecologically degraded patches of barren land (currently near Pune). The reforestation partnership is acknowledged on our ACM India partner page https://india.acm.org/about-acm-india/institutional-partners.
As a memento, we now offer to donate an amount to 14 Trees which will enable them to plant a sapling in the contributor's name as donor. 14 Trees will groom it to a tree with the donor's name plate next to it. They will also send a certificate and updates about the tree planted. Of course, at any time the donor is welcome to visit the "ACM India Grove" at 14 Trees where the tree stands.
Through this partnership, we are doing our bit by joining the mission to build sustainable, carbon-footprint-neutral ecosystems.
We are receiving tremendous positive response from our contributors, such as event speakers and panelists, recipients of ACM India awards, members of our Committee of Fellows. In the last couple of months since we started, already more than 75 trees are slated to be planted. We will extend this to more initiatives where we offer mementos.
We had a symbolic inauguration ceremony on Saturday 26th March by planting a few saplings at 14 Trees. Enclosing a snapshot to share the moment with you.
