Call for Nominations

ACM India-Women Committee 2023-27

The ACM India-Women (ACMI-W) Nominations Committee is seeking nominations from women professional members of ACM residing in India for the ACMI-W Committee. The Nominations Committee will be selecting six members to the ACMI-W Committee starting 1 July 2023. The term of the members will be four years.

All the nominations will be carefully scrutinized by the Nominations Committee, which is empowered to make the final selection, subject to ratification by the ACM India Council. The ACMI-W Committee members will appoint ACMI-W Chair, Vice-Chair and Secretary/Treasurer from among their members. These appointments will be ratified by the ACM India Council.

Members can self-nominate themselves or send nominations of other suitable members. Candidates for the ACMI-W Committee should be individuals with considerable exposure to, and experience with ACM and its activities. This could be through volunteer work done for ACM India or committees of ACM or ACM India, organizing ACM India events or being in the organizing/programme committees of top conferences or other professional events. They should be members of ACM and also ACM-W.

A nomination should contain the following details:

Full name, affiliation, a statement of purpose, and references whom the Nominations Committee can contact for additional information, if necessary.
