ACM India IndiCS - Call for Proposals

ACM India invites proposals for IndiCS, an initiative aimed at fostering focused research engagement, in-depth discussions, and meaningful collaboration within the computer science community.
Overview
IndiCS facilitates immersive research seminars that bring together a selected group of experts to deliberate on contemporary topics in computer science. The program is designed to encourage sustained interaction, intellectual depth, and the development of long-term research connections. These seminars differ from conventional conferences by prioritizing informal discussions and active participation over formal presentations.
Key Information
- Proposals may be submitted by groups of computer science researchers or practitioners
(with at least one proposer based in India) - Seminar duration: typically three to five days
Optional instructional school: one to two days - Participation is by invitation only and limited to a maximum of 45 attendees
- Proposals will be evaluated by the Scientific Committee on quality, relevance, and potential impact
- Venues: events may be hosted at any pre-approved location conducive to intensive interactions
- ACM India will provide capped support for student participants from India, including travel, accommodation, and meals
