Call for Nominations for ACM India Awards

Dear ACM members,

The nomination window for the prestigious ACM India awards 2025 is now open. Please help us celebrate and give visibility to outstanding contributions from India by identifying potential awardees and putting in their nominations.

Note that the hard deadline for Doctoral Dissertation Award (DDA) is 31 August 2025, and that for the ECR (Early Career Researcher), OCCE (Outstanding Contributions to Computing Education), and OCCW (Outstanding Contributions to Computing by a Woman) awards is 15 September 2025. 

This year, we have introduced a new award for practitioners (Outstanding Applied Innovations in Computing ~~ OAIC), which also has a deadline of 15 September 2025.

While we celebrate the achievements from India through these India awards, we also request you to nominate deserving candidates for global ACM awards (https://awards.acm.org/), so that the contributions are recognized at the world level.

Quoting ACM CEO Vicki Hanson "Deserving individuals cannot receive these awards unless someone such as you takes the time to submit their nomination for an Award!" There are so many excellent candidates in our community, but unless we nominate them, their contribution will not get the recognition it deserves, at India or world level.
