Celebrating ACM's 2019 & 2020 Award Recipients: Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award

The surge of the COVID-19 delta variant, international travel restrictions and restrictions on indoor gatherings forced ACM to cancel its Awards Banquet planned for October 23, 2021.

We continue our series of emails containing videos highlighting the achievements of the 2019 and 2020 Award recipients that were prepared for the Banquet.

The Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award recognizes outstanding service contributions to the Association. Candidates are selected based on the value and degree of service overall, and up to three individuals may be awarded each year.


2019 Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award

The 2019 Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award is presented to Arati M. Dixit for contributing to the growth and diversity of ACM programs in India, especially ACM-W India.

2020 Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award

Chris Hankin receives the 2020 Outstanding Contribution to ACM Award for fundamental contributions to ACM Europe and for bringing a European perspective to critically important ACM committees and activities.


ACM welcomes nominations for candidates whose work exemplifies the best and most influential contributions to our community, and society at large. More information on nominating candidates for future awards is available on the ACM Awards website here.
