Hour of Code

The Hour of Code is a global movement designed to generate excitement in young people about programming and technology. Games, tutorials, and other events were organized during Computer Science Education Week around the world. ACM would like to thank the following chapters who participated this year:

Probationary and De-Chartered Chapters

ACM has de-chartered chapters on probation who have not completed their 2016 annual reports. The list of de-chartered chapters can be found at: www.acm.org/chapters/acm-chapter-de-charter-notice.

ACM Chapter Spotlight

Florida State University ACM SIGGRAPH Student Chapter put on an event on November 18 that brought together a series of talks and gaming events, featuring the Technical Design Director at UCF's Interactive Entertainment Academy Ron Weaver, FSU's Entrepreneur in Residence and Disney Imagineer Mk Haley, and a game tournament hosted by FAMU Game Design and FSU Game Committee!

They invited everyone to learn more from these game changers in the gaming world and meet other students who share their interest for interactive entertainment!
