ACM Launches New Journal on AI for Science
Submissions Welcome
New York, NY, May 29, 2025 – ACM, the Association for Computing Machinery, has announced that it is now accepting submissions for a new journal, ACM Transactions on AI for Science (TAIS). The journal aims to publish research which demonstrates how scientific challenges can drive new AI, and reciprocally, how computational methods can foster scientific discoveries.
ACM Transactions on AI for Science speaks to a breadth of methodological researchers in AI and machine learning, as well as science and engineering researchers. The audience for the journal includes core AI researchers, as well scientists from other disciplines such as physics, mathematics and engineering.
For more information including author guidelines and submission instructions, please see the TAIS homepage.
The Co-Editors-in-Chief of the Journal are Andrew B. Duncan, Imperial College London; Nick S. Jones, Imperial College London; and Siva Rajamanickam, Sandia National Laboratories. TAIS also includes 22 Associate Editors, drawn from countries around the world including Canada, Denmark, South Africa, Switzerland, South Africa, the United Kingdom and the United States.
ACM publishes more than 70 scholarly peer-reviewed journals in dozens of computing and information technology disciplines. ACM's high-impact, peer-reviewed journals constitute a vast and comprehensive archive of computing innovation, covering emerging and established computing research for both practical and theoretical applications.
